Yeah, one of my favorite series of books. There's a ton of them so far, and the author started them in the late '80's, but they're really good. THe series is about a pair of teenagers named Kit and Nita who are Wizards in the service of the Powers of Light that made the universe and keep it going. Their foe is Death itself, as well as the proud Power who created it... very fun series, well worth reading. To those of you who go to my school (you know who you are) the library has several of them, and I have them all (if I can find them), so if you're interested, it's no biggie to find 'em.
For everyone else, well.... check your local libraries. They're not as dumb as I've probably made them sound.

Which ones are the 'last one or two'. Because some of 'em can be a bit confusing.

I started reading the demonata series once, but I didn't like it as much. Cirque du Freak was great, though.

I read Cirque Du Freak. It was okay, I prefer Historical fiction. Though I did read the Harry Potter books...

Young Wizards was around before Harry Potter, and in the later books is much more sci-fi than fantasy, althugh the potential for both was always there, as most of the 'fantasy' came from what Nita and Kit were doing rather than how they were doing it. And while there was the occasional dragon or dark power, there were just as many alternate dimensions and technological problesm to deal with.
And nobody can say that High Wizardry was anything other than firmly seated in science fiction... although, really, the next book, A Wizard Abroad, was just as firmly seated in fantasy... although the books afterward did end up being more science-fictiony than they started out.

I never heard of either series. I'm new to the site, obviously. Name's Jacob.

Hi, nice to meet you. I'm not a big fan of magic. I like the Lycan/Vampire fighting.

I'm interested in most genres of the supernatural.
....except for the Twilight Saga.

I hate the Twilight Vampires....I want to Stake them, all of them. Including Bella, is she even a "Vampire"?
