I read "Death Note" And another one I can't quite remember. I think it was called "Garden of Eden". It turned Civillians to a stonelike substance and the Kids take refuge in a special building. They find a robot friend, etc.

Hm. Never heard of it. Garden of Eden, I mean. My favorite little-known manga would have to be Legendz... really cute.
