Faeylinn trudged into room #13 and collapsed on the bed. The classes had dragged on for longer than she'd have liked, with the exception of music class. And trying to walk all day instead of fly made her legs and feet hurt. Now she just wanted to relax, so she grabbed a well-worn book and laid on her bed, opening it to a random page and beginning to read.

Soltis was in the room next to her. No one was in the other rooms around him, or he thought he was alone. He placed his boombox, and turned up the bass on it, and started to play a song. It shook the walls.

Faeylinn had been peacefully absobred in a story about four girls sharing one pair of jeans when the music started. If it could be called music. She jumped off her bed with a squeal, looking around for the source of the noise with her hands over her ears. She hovered above her bed for a minute before realizing it was coming from the room next to her. She flew out her door, hands still clamped over her ears, and pushed open the door of room #12. "Turn it down!"

Soltis walked over and opened the door. He saw it was the girl from one of his earlier classes. "Why, what room are you in?" He demanded to know.

She kept her ears covered and used her bare foot to point to the next door down. "I'm in #13, now can you please turn it down before I go deaf?"

"It is not even that loud. Sure the bass it up, but that is up." He said, before her sighed. "Dammit, they said that no one will be in the neighboring rooms."

She flew past him into the room and turned down the music. "What do you have a problem with neighbors? Or is it just the noise level complaints?"

She crossed her arms and settled down on his bed. "Well, that's very encouraging. I don't even know your name and you're insulting me."

"Why the hell are you in my room?" he said as he looked at the door. "I do not want to know you."

"Well, too bad! If I'm going to be staying in a room next to you, I at least want to know who you are! So I'm not leaving untill I know your name and your favorite song." She made herself comfortable on his bed, waiting for him to tell her.

Soltis then smiled. He could used the lady to forced the girl out of the room. He opened the door. "Yes?" He asked.

She grinned and waved from where she was lounging on the bed. "Heya, security guard! How was your day?"

Aeyara stood there, looking very annoyed. She looks past Soltis at Faeylinn, glaring as she recognized them. "I have a kid coming to my door the minute I settle down telling me that we have some other kids mingling a little too much, and surprise, surprise, it's the same girl who gave me problems today. To coin a teacher's favorite phrase, we are not off to a good start."
