Fencing

[Kelsey Winters]

"It is that," she said, her eyes going far away for a moment, but then she shook her head. "I don't think I'd be the one for you to spar with, Raziel. Why don't you and Jordan go a round, and I'll watch?"

[Raziel]

"Yes." Raziel bowed his head and walked out on the floor.

[Jordan Coles]

Jordan picked up his thin Rapier and wandered on to the floo rgiving a few test swings before taking an unusual rapier stance, he stood to a side with his weapon alof pointing at Raziel, his other hand was at a 45 degree angle facing downwards clenched in a fist.

[Raziel]

Raziel took hold of the sword, but instead of taking it out of the scabbard, kept it in it. He took the scabbard wit one hand and kept the other on the hilt. He got into a defensive position and waited.

[Jordan Coles]

"First move to me eh?" Jordan said smiling slightly "Your fault..." he grumbled. "Let's scare him a bit..." He thought smiling again, rushing forward he gripped the scabbered sword with his free hand, throwing his hand down he lowered the weapon swingin at Raziels head with the blunted weapon.

[Raziel]

Waiting for this, Raziel spun, avoiding the weapon and pulling his sword free of the scabbard at the same time. When he was finally behind Jordan, he hit the flat of the blade against his back. Raziel stumbled back, getting a defensive position again. He rubbed his ear. He's faster than I thought.

[Jordan Coles]

Jordan shifted forward slightly with the blow before crouching down slightly, leaping up he flipped over Raziel "Flashy" he thought landing behind Raziel, he rested the edge of his Rapier on his shoulder "Keep up" He muttered aloud.

[Raziel]

Raziel raised his hands."I'd rather stay down." He suddenly fell forwards, kicking back with his feet. He landed on his hands, not waiting to look to see if he had tripped Jordan. He arched his back and felt his feet hit the floor. Having to let go of his sword, Raziel pushed off of the floor and somehow twisted to his feet, hood falling off. He hadn't done that in a while. He then turned around.

[Jordan Coles]

Jordan's balance went, he could feel himself falling to the floor but holding up his free hand he managed to keep himself up though he had lost a vital advantage, instantly taking an offensive position he shook his head "Lying..." He said tutting slightly "I'm dissapointed!"

[Raziel]

Really having no way to get to his sword without getting attacked by Jordan, Raziel just stood there. He hoped he had applied enough ointment on his hands to deflect the rapier's tip while trying to get to his sword. He calculated the odds of him winning the duel like this. It always kept rounding up to about 20%. [Oh well, it was good while it lasted.[/i] He raised his hands. "It appears I have lost my weapon, lets call the duel on you for now." Lowering his arms, he said with a ghost of a smile, "I look forward to our next duel."

[Jordan Coles]

Jordan halted the strike and sheathed the weapon "Butterfingers" he said smiling warmly before turning around and heading over to the duffel back and placing the now sheathed Rapier into the bag before pulling the zip closed "Is that it or does someone else want to go up?"

[Kelsey Winters]

Kel laughed. "Well, we seem to have lost our other participants. I hope someone shows up..."

[Raziel]

Raziel retreived his sword and scabbard. "It was a great first day."

[Jordan Coles]

"Indeed..." Jordan said smiling slightly himself "It has been a very fun day and quite frankly it dissapoints me to know that I'll soon be heading to my dorm to stare at the roof for a few hours before getting up to get to my next lesson!" He shook his head before thinking slightly "Pe if i'm correct so at least it could be worse.

Patrick walked into the gym "Hi people. What did I miss? Does someone want to go a round?"
