Is water organic? Here's why this question comes into mind. My character creates things from his memory into real life from molecules in the air...any around him and such, and he can't make organic stuff. Anyway, water is H2O, so two hydrogen and one oxygen. I mean making that much water though would be tedious but possible...right? anyway....you can also use this post for whatever, I don't care.

LOL, ooh this is putting what Im learning in Chemistry class to the test.... Wait, I don't pay attention in class (shame on me)... I can't remember.... isn't anything that has carbon organic? But I'm not sure if there is an exception for water...

Carbon is a natural Chemical. So is Hydrogen so the fusion of the two would be Organic. Yes it is, have fun!

Actually, water is NOT organic.
organic materials are any material containing Carbon. Water contains no carbon and is therefore not organic.

Huh....sooooooo.........I COULD make water, if I wanted to. But that could be on the brink of GM so, I'll only use it on special ocasions...like I've no idea so. XD I just realized, my character also can't make diamonds, but who would?

Actually, it may be that organics are things that contain hydrocarbons, but I could be wrong. Anyway, making water isn't exactly bad, depending on how you do it. After all, it's an essential skill in the desert.
